Refund Policy

DIU ensures that all tuition fees for a program or part of a program for the period for which a student has registered less the non refundable registration fee are promptly refunded to the student if:

  • He or she gives written notice to the institution within five (5) days after signing a registration agreement that he or she rescinds the agreement; or
  • He or she gives the institution written notice that he or she does not intend to begin the program or course, as the case may be; or
  • He or she does not attend the first 10 consecutive days of the program or course, as the case may be.
  • He or she withdraws from a program or part of a program, as the case may be, before one-half of it has been completed, the program or part of a program, as the case may be, is discontinued according to the following schedule. 

The institution is entitled to retain:

  • Up to and including 10 percent of the course if the student leaves before 10 % of the course is completed (please note that these are tuition charges remaining after subtracting the non-refundable fee already retained).
  • If the student leaves between 10 percent and 25 percent completion of the course, 25 percent of the refundable tuition may be retained.
  • If the student leaves between between 25 percent and 50 percent completion of the course, 50 percent of the refundable tuition may be retained.
  • After the student completes more than half the course, the institution shall be entitled to retain the entire total course tuition.

    We will pay all refunds within 30 days.
